What is Shame?
A structure / stronghold in your mind holding your potential captive. The structure is multiple false beliefs, glued with thinking patterns and fuelled by emotions that are activated on a daily basis. This structure destroys, destructs and kills us slowly because it is in rebellion against our Father God.
Have you ever felt frustrated, hopeless, worthless, disappointment, rejected, sad, fear, angry and powerless all at the same time?
A dark-lost destructive feeling that makes you want to run away, hide your face, give-up or lock yourself in a room…
That is shame… If you experience this once in a bloom moon or often the intensity of shame is just different but still operating.
Why is it that we do not have a proper emotional definition of shame? It has been covered up and in hiding for such a long time. That is, in fact, what shame does best: HIDE. Most of us face shame daily without realising what it is.
Here is an acronym to describe shame more accurately:
S = Self Hatred
H = Humiliated by who you are (Humiliation)
A = Abandoned due to disrupted core
M = Measured and found faulty
E = Enslaved
Shame is a dark place with its intensity determined by the state of mind you find yourself in. You can be just sad or suicidal with shame being the ROOT operative. It is a severe principle that governs a variety of toxic emotions like;
Disappointment
Guilt
Condemnation
Self-loathing
Self-rejection
Fear of Abandonment
Anger
Frustration
Hopelessness
Powerlessness
Resentment
Fear of Rejection
Depressed
Agony
Misery
Sorrow
Regret
Fear of loss
Oppressed
Rejection
Fear / anxiety
Envy
Yearning
Fear of Judgement
Strained
Unworthy
Insecure
Indecisiveness
Ensnared
Fear of disappointment
Shame makes its victims believe that they are unworthy, useless and that their core is bad / faulty.
